Artist background
Jamie Primrose is a highly collectable and best-selling contemporary Scottish artist. With past sell-out collections to his name he has hosted 19 successful solo exhibitions in Edinburgh and London since he became a professional artist in 2003.

Originally Primrose attended The Edinburgh Academy (1977-1990), then graduated with a BA Hons in Fine Art from Newcastle University in 1994.

After a decade of study, world travel and work in London (in the creative environments of photographic libraries such as Getty Images and Digital Vision), Primrose returned to Scotland and his home town of Edinburgh to paint professionally.

Outstanding success
Since then, Jamie has established himself as one of the most exciting talents in the UK - with a fast growing UK and international clientele. In addition to owning beautiful artworks, clients purchase his original paintings as a longer-term investment as they continue to rise in value every year with substantially increased demand.
